Ten people were injured in a Long Beach accident on Thursday. The accident involved two cars and a Long Beach Transit Bus.
The multi-vehicle crash happened at the corner of 7th St. and Atlantic Ave. in Long Beach at about 10:05 a.m. A compact Ford and a Long Beach Transit Bus were traveling westbound on Atlantic Ave. A late model Audi was traveling westbound on Atlantic Ave. The Ford and Audi collided in the intersection. The bus then slammed into the Audi.
The male driver of the Ford and the female driver of the bus, as well as several bus passengers, were transported to local hospitals for treatment. One of the injury victims included a wheelchair-bound male bus passenger.
Police officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
