Two vehicles collided on the 101 Freeway in Studio City early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of one man and injury to a man and woman.
The accident happened at about 3:44 a.m. on the eastbound 101 Freeway near Coldwater Canyon Ave. in Studio City.
Emergency responders freed two people from a Toyota sedan. The man and woman were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The man, who was approximately 25 to 30 years old, died at the hospital.
A male occupant of a Honda Element also suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital.
