A female motorcyclist and a car collided on Tuesday in Long Beach, leaving one person dead.
The accident happened about 6:30 p.m. on the eastbound Gerald Desmond Bridge.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. According to The Long Beach Fire Department, a second person was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
